Well, I have two hondas. I have a v6 accord with a completely after market suspension, exhaust and lightened pullies for going on trips, and taking my gf out.
I also have a 1988 crx with a jdm b16a, spoon ecu, 3" intake, 4-2-1 headers, exhuast, and complete suspension. Neither of these cars are great drag cars, although my crx has taken out 2 mustang GT's (stock ones) and a E36 M3 street racing from lights, but the crx should be good for auto-x as soon as I learn how to drive it well enough. Honestly, I have only had the swap for a couple months, and the car's capabilities on an auto-x track are beyond mine for now.

yea, most of you in this thread sound like idiots.

just because it is an import does not make it a "ricer". A ricer is someone who does cosmetic modifications ONLY and then claims that his car is faster because of it. www.ricecop.com

99drop, "rice" is a relative word, people can use rice any way they want, b/c its slang... a person can use rice any way he/she wants, theres no set defination for rice, to me imports are rice, beefed up imports are muscle rice

I use rice for pretty much every asian car, because to me, they are done with bad taste from the factory

Which is rice.

couldnt disagree more jeep...they arent made for the purpose that you seem to think every car should live up to.. which is being a earth shattering street machine.  Some cars are made for the people who aren't concerned with that, and  want a car that is fuel efficient, and easily maintainble.

droptop its not a negative connotation when it is RELATIVE, it can be used for anything... hence the defination for our "rice" is not defined therefore it is slang, which can be used any way... its simply our slang for imports, RICE

i guess since i post regularly on www.ricecopforums.com , we only label rice as an extremely cosmetically modified car, not a stock import.

ya thats cool, but every1s different, i used to just view rice as parkbenches, fart cans, and R badges, clear tail's, with some riduculous body kit, and some stupid worthless decals, but now im used to just calling imports rice

99drop, get this mashed into your brain and retain it:

I hate all but 2 asian imports. The RX-7 and the RX-8.

Deal with it. I never said you had to like it.
want a car that is fuel efficient, and easily maintainble.
Since when are FWD's easy to maintain? Try doing the clutch on one....
