i already got my 4.10s installed and i finally got my speedo recalibration gear from steeda. where the hell does this thing go? and can i install it myself? i have searched everywhere and cant find any info on this subject.

swap it out of tranny.just a gear right.

yeah its just the gear. so can i just get underneath the car and change it or do i have to lower the tranny?

look it's on your drivers side,about mid way up theres a cable one bolt pull it out and swap it.

i did it without jacking the car up in some parking lot lol long arms are good for something. vss sensor comes out then the little gear is on it slip on the new one and put it back in. Like grabbem said its just one bolt.

i wish i woulda saved the money on a speedo gear b/c my speedo is still way off
b/c anything over 3.55's you have change the drive gear in the trans too

when i ordered my tremmec i told them what my rear gear was...make sure it's on good....i had one shred on me cause of not getting it on there good

there is a e-clip or some kind of clip becareful i broke mine,and the new ones suck

Wait...you have the change the DRIVE GEAR?!?! Sh*T!.... How hard/expensive is that?? Or will it be 'close enough'?? How far off would you say?? (for 4.10s)
