Most here will tell you that a M5 99-04 GT can do 150mph plus but that is BS.
The fact that your car is an auto will suck up a little more HP but will not really affect top speed vs a manual GT since the M5 GT has such a high 5th gear.
my 98gt did 142mph...my 00' did over 150+.....chip/exhaust......both done on county rds
2mile stretch.

stock gears about 145, with 4.10s about 155ish couldnt tell
um, a lower gear will slow down your top speed. Land speed racers run high gear ratios, like a 2.48 or higher to go for top speed. a low gear like a 4.10 is for quicker acceleration, not top end
