SHM ???

Ontario,but he is hated by some . I don't know why .
I asked the same thing about him to my tuner....he gave me first hand knowledge about him from an experience. Seems this guy sent his brand new Lightning up to SHM to have the motor/blower done to make some un godly HP....when the truck was returned after about $40,000 worth of work....it didnt run worth a crap....idle problems, bogging problems, overly rich, etc. When my tuner was trying to correct the tune that SHM put in, it ended up frying some pistons. They called SHM and asked for some more pistons (they had to buy them because he wouldnt warranty anything he built, he also said they were custom pistons), then SHM sent the wrong pistons. When they called him back and wanted to send the pistons back to get the correct ones, he told them tuff ****, you bought 'em, they are yours...even though SHM sent the wrong ones. Needless to say my tuner wasnt happy about spending $800.00 on a set of pistons that wouldnt work. SHM even said he made them a deal on those pistons, come to find out that they werent custom pistons and could be bought for $300.00 less else where. On another vehicle SHM built, it ran ragged and Sean himself came down to tune it...guess what...he couldnt tune it. Seems that Sean Hyland surrounds himself with knowledgeble people but isnt the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to himself actually doing the work. He may be business smart but it doesnt sound like it if he treats his customers that way.

I wouldnt do business with him.......my 2 cents worth and my opinion.....let the force guide you, young Jedi.
