Well I'm trying to get VENOMUS for my Shelby tribute car here in CO. You have to mail your requests in and wait to see if you get it (6-8 weeks later).

can't you check online with your DOT ?
Even HERE in AL it's possible to check online for availability and
even 'reserve' it for a few dollars fee.
I was looking for a certain plate too but had to
'compromise' on the letters to get it done.
