does anyone know of any fmic(front mount intercooler) i can put in an svo without having to cut or change the radiator? also i am running a dual fan set up from an 87 turbo coupe, so if there is a fmic that will work around the fan set-up. if not the fans will have to go, but it would be nice to my current set-up.

hmmm...ide just look around online for a kit...they might make one, or you could do a custom job yourself...just have a local muffler shop bend some pipes for you

I'm working on a custom install with a Thunderbird SuperCoupe intercooler. I'm going to mount it behind the radiator and design a shroud to direct cool air to it. I'm also going to use an 800cfm fan on the intercooler. I have pretty much the same goals as you so it should work for you too.

Sparco makes a complete intercooler kit for the SVO. They even have a radiator designed to fit in any SVO. Best part is... it's not that expensive.

I made a front mount from a stock starion intercooler, just cut the short elbow and turn 90 deg and have it rewelded then make the plumbing to turbo and TB from 2.125" exhaust tubing . The intercooler fits infront of ac condensor .People say that those IC's suck, But I ran 25 psi on my car in the 100 deg temps here in texas using only reg unleaded.!

SPEARCO MAKES A KIT Called the SVO Kit.

I got one one mine. Bolts right up no cutting, no drilling, make sure to use Tbolt clamps not hose clamps.
Oh and it does have all piping and connectors.

It's called a mid mount kit mounted in between the radiator and pulleys with a scoop to pick up fresh cold air front the bottom.

It's a little pricey but worth it. The only part that may need to be fabbed is the Compressor outlet pipe. Depending on how it's clocked now.

AND PLEASE BUY SOME SORT OUT A BYPASS/BLOWOFF SYSTEM. EBAY Special on mine Turbo XS RFL knockoff $75 with flanges and everything.
It'll hold more boost then you'll run

Click the link in my signature. This kit even bolted to my Turbo Coupe.

ALSO HERE"S Spearco's Website with a pic of the entire kit towards the bottom
