As far as the p/w thing goes. Maybe you all should realize exactly what one is. Go read through ALL of my posts, you will plainly see that they are mainly in the tech section and in response to someone asking for help. Please explain how that is p/h'ing!!! Oh and here's a definition for ya.... "Someone who posts on an online forum just for the sake of posting. He or she doesn't have to have any relevant or complete thought to post. As long as the post count goes up, he or she is happy."

I pulled my post out of here, your not seeing things. After that last post calling long time members babys did it for me. I have a problem with a Newbie causing problems with the regulars who have been here for quite some time. PRO500 To be honest I think they may view you as a smart a-- know it all instead of someone trying to help another guy out. To be honest, that is something in your attitude you have to work on to be welcome by alot of guys in here. This is not written in a mean or sarcastic tone I'm just trying to stamp out a fire so we all can help each other and get along.

I personally like to read PRO50SC posts... seems like he knows what hes talking about and Im still learning here. The posts arent just +1 like most of the peoples around here, thats what I call a post whore... PRO is always typing something that actually has a point. Oh, and the blow me avitar is awesome, that chic is smokin' hot.... You guys shouldnt put down somebody that is willing to take the time to answer our questions, not everybody is a grease monkey like some of you guys are......

See it how you want to. I enjoy helping the ppl here that ask for it. The original post in this thread was nothing more than a simple suggestion. YOU all (the haters, complainers) are the ones that have made the big issue out of it. You make comments to me, I will respond!! If members here act like babies, I'll treat them as such. If they have a problem w/ the amount of knowledge I possess, that is their problem to deal with, not mine. I've been around and done a lot and don't mind sharing my experiences with the members of this site. If I can keep someone from making a mistake then that is the whole point of being here. To help others. There have only been a couple ppl on here I have made derogatory comments towards ONLY because they have given totally misleading info that would be no help to someone seeking advice. If you want to crucify me for it, that's your prerogative.
If the mod/admin team find it necessary to contact me about my posting habits, I'm sure they will. That being said, I will continue to help ppl that want it.

ok let me just get this straight for the record, it originally didnt have anything to do with your post count, it was the fact that you were complaining about reposts when you have only been here a week. the fact that you had 400 posts in 6 days was just a side part that didnt help when i looked at how long you have been registered. post whore or not, when your complaining about something, when you have that many posts in such a limited amount of time, its not gonna work for you.
pretty much all im trying to say, is you havnt been here long enough to be complaining about reposts. you have to realize that this is a forum, and EVERY SINGLE QUESTION is or will be a repost. thats what makes this a forum and not an FAQ site with just questions and answers. yes theres tons of things that can go wrong on a car, but eventually problems are going to repeat themselves between members, and to keep the site active, it can be a good thing that we see reposts.
There are ALOT of tech questions popping up in here. It would be very helpful to those of us that try to supply suggestions if those posting would include all info for the type of car they are inquiring about as well as better descriptions of the problems. Don't know about the rest of you but my typing skills are lacking. So when I have to continually ask for the the info I have just requested, it wastes mine and everyone else's time that is willing to help.
Please try to give ALL info concerning your request to make it as easy as possible. Cuz fixing cars on the intwerweb is hard enough as it is.

Here is my original post. Nowhere in it does it say anything about reposts nor am I complaining about ANYTHING!!! The amount of time I have been a member here really has no bearing on this thread. Yeah, I coulda' probably left out the high lighted part above in the original post, but I didn't see it as such a big deal. If it came out that way, then I apologize. Like I said, just trying to help out.

Yeah, I dont see any problem with what he was requesting.... Just when you post a question or problem with your car, then also post the year, engine etc.. like you would with any support or customer service institution that says have your loan number ready etc. there have been times when people will ask like" i want 373 gears, what speedo gear should I get or how do i recalibrate my speedo". Well, without knowing what year hes got, or tranny, how are we supposed to know..... I guess maybe you guys are getting on pro50 because hes technically "new" but posts a lot and shouldnt have the right to complain yet?? To me its not a complaint, it would make a lot more sence to post a question and also what kind of car you have... I read this stuff, later to find out that it was dealing with a 99 stang which is completely different than my 95.. would have been nice to know that. Anyway, this forum is a great place to learn and no need to bicker back and forth.
By the way, bet my stang is faster than both of yours okay just kidding..... (a little comic relief)
PRO500 I guess you were too steamed to read the last sentence of my post, the part about not writing this in a mean or sarcastic tone? The picture irritated me because although those guys you were arguing with were giving you a rough time, that was a very inmature way to handle it. I hadn't said anything until then. I don't even know you and I haven't been online much the last week or so. Myself I never turn down advice becasue I am not a car mechanic, before I was disabled I was a plumber and floor heating specialist. I just got into cars heavy the last year. So I am an infant. If you are as intelligent as I think you are,don't drop to that level, use your "smarts" quiet your critics. I am with you Steve. I found this forum recently and thought it was great. I have not run into threads that are a bunch of s*^t talking like other stang...net forums! If you have the smarts and want to help people, great! Thats what these forums are all about. But don't run threads on and on with BS! Looks to me like what he is asking is perfectly fine, so what if he has only been here a short time, he knows more than 90% of the people here including those with over 1000 posts who are whinning in this thread. PRO keep up the good work. As a side note, I too get frustrated when a noob asks the same gear or similar question that has been asked 100000 times before. Answering the same crap over and over is not what a forum is all about. ARdollar you have over 1200 posts in less than a year, some would consider you a post whore also.

Can others say the same? For those that can't see the difference maybe you need to open your spectrum of view. Posting on car forums is very relaxing for me. And I always learn somethin' along the way. Which is really what it's all about!!
