haha :) Got to have a little fun sometimes. **** I know I got the car and like it but it something I will never keep which is why I leased it. in 3 or 4 years when the lease is up or can trade i'm going to get either the new Camaro(hopefully by then the SS Camaro will be out) and Duramax. This was my 1st 4cyl and is nice but doesn't have the V8 power or sound to it and I wish I never downgraded from a V8 truck to this car. :-/

I'm not trying to take up for this guy codyss...But the Cobalt SS is a pretty quick little car...14.4@99.3 isn't to far off from a Mustang GT....In the hands of someone who can't drive the GT...It could become a pretty intresting race.

Keep in mind anything can happen.

Cody... claims a slobalt SS is not slower than a SRT-4.

Since you are the almighty car god.... please explain to me how this is possible.

Both are fwd; srt weighs 50lb's less, 50lbs more torque and 25 more hp.

You say you open up your mouth because we are all ignorant. HOW ****ING IGNORANT IS THAT COMMENT. Dumbass. I hope you respond to see what bull **** flies out of your mouth next.

but in cody's eyes, everyone who drives the cobalt is an excellent driver that can ALWAYS pull off that 14.4, whereas a GT driver will be lucky to get a 14.5.

LOL....well everyone here know's most Cobalt Owners will probably only see 15's....It takes some skill to get a car like that up and going...I think everyone here's proved their point...It's obvious this guy doesn't get it...I say lock the thread and keep a close eye on every thread started about this war..

Remember the big fuss we had hear years ago about the Mustang vs SRT-4...It got way out of hand.

Ah, I just read it wrong apparently.

Yeah, I don't see low 14's at all.

Yeah, I just like messing with him, he claims he can beat my car but I don't see how 14.4 is faster than 13.3. Someone will have to explain this to me.

14 is the bigger number

hey cody. i'm confused. i did a search for your old posts and every post involves your camaros as past tense. they WERE this and WERE that. yet somehow, you still have one or both?

http://www.mustangforums.com/m_514089/mpage_2/key_camaro/tm.htm#827238

I would call my Cobalt SS the Anti-Rice if anything.

My Camaro SS's were both high 12 second cars after a couple $$ in mods.

here is my favorite, where you said you got rid of the last one
quote:

I have had two LS1's, a 2000 Camaro SS and 2002 Camaro SS one was auto the other M6. I got rid of the last one because it got boring. I had all of the usual bolt-on stuff and didn't want to tear into he engine.

http://www.mustangforums.com/m_881783/mpage_2/key_camaro/tm.htm#887931

there's tons of other posts i don't feel like quoting, but you always refer to your camaro you have as had in all of them. lemme guess, that was someone else using your account again?

i should have posted the one where you said the LS1 was boring. i closed the window and am not that bored... anymore

oh what the heck.

quote:

A LS1 get's boring when you live in a small town like I do where a fast car is anything that can break into the 14's. There are ten Mustang GT's to every one LS1 F-Body stomping on GT's got old quick.

From what I've heard, a stock Cobalt SS is actually a really good Auto-X car. More than capable to be competitive. A drag car it is not though.
