in the near future im gonna own a 67 mustang, im looking for one that used to have a V6 but is currently motorless, and manual that is currently transmissionless, ive been close to finding what i want but not perfect yet.  I want a V6 b/c then when the auto insurance types in my VIN# they'll see that it has a V6, i was informed that you do not have to tell the insurance company if you change motors.  Okay, now my plan, im gonna get a chevy 350ci/428hp crate engine off of an edelbrock block, and a 700r4 level 3 tranny, a holley 900 cfm caburetor, new (67) ford headers, and flowmasters up until the exhaust which i will bend. the exhaust will have dual pipes which go out to dual tips and they will be lined up, so that it will look like 4 single exhaust tipsin a row, then im gonna get a new suspension kit.  The things that i need help with are the gears, b/c i dont have any knowledge of gears and what they do.  Oh ya, and im getting the back bumper custom and i was thinking maybe the front to look like elanor... but all that fiberglass work would be 1500$ :(, all of the work excluding the front fiberglass work would be 9,000$, and the paint will be dark grey with black stripes, just like the site banner.  If anyone could help me with gears please reply

Gears: The higher you go (numerically), the lower your 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times. The downside is, you get a lower top speed, MPG and it might reduce traction. lt'll also raise the rpms at cruise.
