Default Possible New Mustang Owner

Hey whats up guys? I'm looking into possibly getting a mustang, so I have come here to do some research. I currently drive a Honda Prelude, but was rearended, hence the research on new cars. Right now I have it down to another Prelude I found, a 240sx if i find the right one, and a Stang if i find a suitible one.

btw, I'm from jerzee.

personally i would get the 240 (rps13) 90-94 and drop in an sr20det red top. thats just me. does your prelude have the h22? why get rid of that? stangs are cool though, just dont rule out the 240 yet!

Why would you get the 240 and change the engine? I'm assuming that's what a sr20det red top is.

the sr20det is the japanese model. whereas the stock motor is 2.4l putting out 160hp, the red top will put out 200 stock and with just an exhaust and boost controller have been known to push 260-270. the car weighs ~2750 and handles like a demon. btw the block is iron and the internals can support 400 crank hp from the factory. very stout.

It would seem like that would cost a lot of $ to do though. If he was gonna put that much $ in it, he could probably have one killer stang.
