I want to replace the rubber hoses on my 93 5.0 injector rails and can this be done? It looks like they can be cut off and maybe new ones attached with hose clamps but I want to verify this before I do this.

Regards!

Ed

it can totally be done, but i would call the ford parts dept. and find out the kind of hose you need, and the clamps for it.

good luck dude

I had a similar problem when I put in my 357 windsor. The factory fuel rails are not wide enough and the rubber hose needed to be modified to make it wide enough to bolt to my trick flow intake. Believe it or not all I did was cut away the grayish colored hose, its tough to cut, and replaced it with normal auto parts store 3/8 fuel line with hose clamps. I have driven the car 1,000 miles and have never had a problem. Dave

The tech guys at the track have given me and others some problems about running rubber hose for fuel line. Aeromotive makes great stuff for mustang fuel systems.
