Default Lifting Points Anyone?

Hey guys, i know the manual says that the lifting point are the doubled up pieces of metal under the side skirt, slightly in front of each rear tire for the back and slightly behind each front tires for the front of the car. My question is will those points suppose the whole car if im lifting using my school's rotary lift or should I lift from the frame? I’m kind of clueless as to what/where the safe lifting points are on our cars because everything seemed to be covered with plastic...... [sm=icon_quiet.gif] thanks guys!
