I overfilled my tranny by a quart or two. I know that can bad if driven in this state for too long. I'd like to siphon some of my tranny fluid out.

What is the best/quickest/easiest way to do this?

Car is a '90 Mustang LX 2.3L

how much do you need to get out? go to the local pharmacy and see if you can get a dropper if it's not a ton of it. or a turkey baster thing would work if it's more.

The best way is to use a fluid pump Wal-Mart has one for $12.

Just make sure the fluid isn't really hot or you will melt the tube or the diaphram in the pump.

You can actually get a fluid pump that will let you siphon off fluid right through your dipstick tube. JC Whitney will probably have one. Check your local auto parts stores. Advanced Auto Parts may even do it for you. They will even come out and give your engine a code check if your light is on so you know what you are dealing with.
