You arent going to get a sebring to sound like a mustang. The motor just doesnt have the aggressivness. a flowmaster will help you a little but it will never sound like that cobra you heard.

my dad's friend has a 3.4L firebird with a single flowmaster and from sound alone you can't tell it's missing two cylinders

Get rid of the cataylitic converters, or gut them out. Look for aftermarket headers, sometimes a bigger throttle body can make your exhaust louder. If all else fails, have a local exhaust shop rig you up with a open header, bypassing the reg exhaust. You can pull a lever or set it with an electric switch to go to open header when you want to hear it. Then switch back to your reg exhaust for regular driving. It should go somewhere between your O2 sensor and your cat's.

This is simple!!!

Go to a Ford Dealership and tell them that you need to achieve that Mustang rumble. Then proceed to walk down the line until you find that perfect match. From there, simply trade in your Sebring for a real nice 05 06 Mustang. You cant go wrong!!! Simple fix.

+1. if you want the rumble of a mustang, you might as well just buy one.

Why would you want to get a Sebring to sound like a Mustang? I understand your passion for the Mustang sound, but your better off just buying a pony and keeping it real.
