As the speed increases so does the difference in time.
2005 CHEVROLET COBALT SS
14.41 @ 99.9mph
so this cody guy is saying he is a fast a a profesional motor trend driver
at a race track 14.4@99.3 in the quater mile(don't think so).

you obviously didnt read the thread, no one is argueing that a cobalt will beat a 2005 gt stock vs. stock. everyone knows the gt owns that race. we are talking 99-04 mostly

or if any lil ole cavabalts are in or near new orleans, i will happily meet ya at a track, but cuz its a cavabalt i will bring a nice ole 3rd gen formula with very very little in mods. sound fair?? to be specific, it has 428 dollars in mods done to it, 36000 miles and is on street tires

Dude, it's been retarded for awhile now but I'm not locking it.
Honestly, I am tired of getting complaints from regular members about people who seem to join only to tell us how fast a Cobalt is or how fast they think it could be with a certain combinations of mods.
That's great. I'm thrilled that they are not complete turds but the fact is that this is a Mustang forum. We try to welcome everyone and most of us are interested in other cars as well but this "trolling" activity is unacceptable.
Therefore, starting this afternoon, I am going to begin banning the IP addresses of those who I feel are trolls.....and maybe a couple of others too......just because it annoys me that I have to spend part of my afternoon sorting out this stupid crap.

seriously though...it doesnt matter how "Fast" your crappy little slobalts are...no one is impressed...to cobalt owners, they are these super cool sports coupes...to THE REST OF THE WORLD, YOURE A BUNCH OF CAVALIER DRIVING DOUCHEBAGS!! changing the platform name doesnt hide the fact that its the replacement for the cavalier, and its STILL not a nice car. its the same plastic piece of s**t. cavabalt owners reply with "its a completely different car than the cavalier", but if you look at the first generation of cavalier, to the second, they looked nothing alike, but it was still a cavalier, and guess what? so is the slobalt.
and for gods sake...you morons are all arguing about how "fast" your 14 second cars are....and the "fast" covaliers are only in the 12s..?
