Default Getting a 9" in my rear with a long hard shaft.

So, now that I have your attention, some of you may have heard about my car. Long story short, its in the shop getting built and will be unveiled at SEMA. Anyways, just received some parts from my sponsors, and Im pretty pumped about it.

First up, an aluminum 1-piece drive shaft supplied by the guys over at Inland Empire Driveline. Weighs in at 13 lbs, which is about 30 lbs less than the stock 43 lb. (IIRC) shaft.

Then today I picked up my complete 9" from Currie Enterprises.

The details:
-100% brand new 9+ housing
-31-spline forged alloy 9+ axles with ABS tone rings set up for stock brakes
-9+ Nodualar Iron Race Case with 3.06 carrier bearings. Capable of handling up to 1,000hp
-9+ Nodular Iron Race big bearing pinion support
-9+ 1330-short yoke
-Heavy duty bracketry with Johnny Joint upper control arm mount
-3.89 Motive gears
-31-spline Eaton Tru Trac limited slip differential
-All Timken bearings

Anyways, just thought some of you may be interested. Im pretty pumped about getting so close to SEMA and I cant wait to get my car back!!
