Default Help me Change the color on my 1968 mustang fastback

ok heres my 1968 mustang fastback and it going into paint in two months need to get paint colors figured out. Can someone Show me what it looks like Painted black with two flat black stripes on the turn signal indicators, then one painted black with two very dark charcoal stripes, then one painted white with dark blue stripes, and throw in one of your own ideas if you can thanks for the help in advance

where exactly do you mean? are there indicators on the reversed 'scoops' on the hood? i know some older cars had that, but i didn't know mustangs had them too. if i am guessing right, essentially you want 'le mans' style stripes, right? (sorry for the delay in the response, my computer has been out of commission for a couple of days)

hey, knowledge is power anyway, here are a few different front angle pics. 1st is a black with flat black/charcoal stripes (flat black and dark charcoal look similar enough), 2nd is white with blue. the 3rd (black with silver stripes) and 4th (a 'pearl burgundy' with flat black stripes... as close as i could get to it anyway) are two other options i came up with. i saw a pic of the pearl burgundy in a goodguys magazine of a mustang with... i think it was called '2007 toyota pearl red' or something; it kinda looks like the redfire on the new mustangs but with a hint of the white pearl they use on new cadillacs; very awesome color. i'll quit my rambling now... oh, if you go black, you could always go for the shelby gt-h color combo.

man that was a long post :S

i dont think the black/flat black compliments the other chrome parts very well
2nd or 3rd chop are the best, imo

i kinda like the black/silver combo; the only thing about it, though, is it kind of looks like an old school camaro, but i haven't seen very many (if any) early mustangs with that paint and stripe combo.

I like the white and blue-saw one the other day around my area, absolutely beautiful! compliments the car nicely!
