but for what reason? i like the fact that it is after the carb cause i dont want to stick my carb inside a box or use a cap. im not real fond of the fact that the fuel is pulled thru the blower, but it doesnt bother me enuff not to buy it.

Acutally.....
I'd say there is farrr more of these blowers runnin around than any KB. The old school 6-71 blowers are probably the most popular supercharger out there.. Not the most efficient, but not junk by no means. And I'm sure this is similar to those just smaller. I've heard these are good entry level street blowers, but dont try to over drive them much..

KB only makes fuel injected ones, might try and check out and see if whipple makes carb ford ones not sure if they do. Id stick with a weiand. Yes they wont make as much peak power as a centro but it will have a much more falt and usable power and torque curve and its much cheaper to begin with also with the fact you dont need to buy an expensive blow thru carb or intake manifold or really even steep gears since you will have so much low end torque. Dyers superchargers makes some for a carbed ford too. Just dont get the kind with teflon coated rotors, that stuff likes to flake off and it does not like meth if you decide to add it later.

The short version: efficiency and intercooling options. I'd rather have a centri setup. And to a smaller extent, price comes into play. I know they're priced similar to centris, but when you factor in some of theother issues I don't like it as much. I don't like twin screws like the KB either. When they start to get hot, there's not much you can do about it.
