Default Mellon Tuning EVO vs 525+bhp Viper SRT-10 with exhaust

talked my dad into bringing out the viper this weekend, he never drives it, hence the missed and slow shifts but we had some fun

do you own an FQ series EVO?

I thought those little ridges above the rear window only came on the FQ series, if so what FQ version is it?

good races too!

actually it's just the regular GSR model but the guy who had the car before me put lowering springs on it, JDM headlights (black trim)and tailights (red) and the MR sonic the hedgehog bumps on top (vortex generators) I bought the car with 14k miles on it back in february or 07

yeah If I noticed him missing a gear I would just let off, we were trying to get a clear run on film. I've been planning a meth injection kit for awhile now, that would allow me to lean out the AFR a bit, add timing and more boost...easily another 50awhp and that should do the trick. Of course the only problem he gives me is from a roll. From a dig I would murder the Viper so bad it would run out ofroom before it caught me.

it's great out of the hole... with completely bald street tires I'm getting 1.65-1.67 60's

I went to the 1/4 mile track last night and here's the video: http://www.racevideoforums.com/forum...ead.php?t=2793

1.67 60'
11.91 @ 114mph

I've been beating on the car since I bought it in February and the only maintenence I've done so far is changing the oil and brakes...it's tough as nails and doesn't mind regular autox , road course, drag racing and street racing.

btw, that's a 6000 RPM 2-step and 10psi launch on a sticky track.
