hey thanks guys, it was just a simple color change from the original red one i made. i'm sure i could do something better... i'm just lazy. Shifty i think you're thinking about Mike Lavallee from killer paint, he was the first one to make the true fire so realistic but there are some guys that are able to do a damn good job too since his secret technique is out. my neighbor is one of the best airbrush artists in the world, people ship him custom bike parts from all over the world because he is so recognized by his insane work, he's been on biker build-off before (a weird satanic guy who only speaks french) ...here's his site. http://www.airbrushfitto.com/
That guy is insanely talented - I loved the helmets!! A little disturbing about the possessed prophetic....paints in a trance stuff but geez, whatever works!

You're neighbors, both named Martin & both extremely creative. Funny.

Thank you for naming Mike Lavallee!! I've watched him on Overhaulin' several times & NOBODY does flames like that man does. (Yes, I'm a huge fan...) On one show, he set some leaves on fire & duplicated it on a black truck that was done for a volunteer firefighter. To say it was incredibly beautiful doesn't begin to do it justice.

The windveil flames look awesome, HC.

yeah the guy is freakin' insane, he does all the work in his basement. i went to visit him a few times and watched him work, extremely talented guy, borderline nuts but talented as hell none the less. he's always booked for a year in advance, his basement is full of custom tanks and fenders, has a wall of trophies and all the magazines he's been in. i don't think he ever lost a contest in wich he participated... i've seen a bunch of the bikes he painted in person, let me say the pics don't even come close to doing them justice. anyone seen pics of his chevy truck ? it's on his site, most badass truck i ever saw, it has a 502 motor in it, i've raced him twice with my previous GT (stock) and he kicked my ass... i'm hoping for revenge next summer here it is...
although it looks like a show-only truck he drives it all summer long like it was his only vehicule, and it's fast as hell, 4x4 donuts are cool

widow i didn't even know his name was Martin too [&:] everybody just calls him Fitto... weird

i'd try to get a pic with him but he'd probably ask "why the f**k do you want my pic?" so i guess i'll pass on that one if anybody wants to find the show he's been on, it was the biker build-off with Mitch bergeron, he's a custom bike builder from my home town that moved to the US to open his own bike shop so he could get to the big $ (i think he's in Cali now... not sure though).

Wow, the similarities are starting to get eerie with you guys.[&:]

I saw his truck - it's gorgeous. And a 502...well, damn! I loved the pics of him riding the quads & such - you can tell that's one fearless man. Thanks for the link - I'm definitely gonna follow his work!
