Yeah, thats it to all of the above.

I have to admit, I don't see the Alf resemblance, and the truth be told...Going by that picture, I'd stick it right up her ass, and even come back if she asked me to.

No no you got it all wrong..you don't treat a lady like that.

I would pick her up with flowers in hand..

open the door for her...

Tell her how beautiful she is...

Ask her how her day went...

take her out to dinner..

play some slow music on the way home..

have some candles lit as we enter my place...

put on some more slow music...

take to my bedroom and lay her down...

get some oil and caress her back...

whisper sweet things in here ear...

slide her pants down...

AND STICK ITSTRAIGHTUP HER ASS!!!

I'M TALKIN TED BUDDY STYLE !!!

Call her a cab and make wait outside for it to come.

I gotta say, I believe she has the car. I dont believe the build for a minute. The things she used to claim, ungodly hp out of low boost on a car that has a tankproof motor. who builds a car like that? Im going to put forged rods in my car so it can handle 3psi . I bet its a vortech car just like the 20 others or so roaming around this site and its got some suspension work done. coilovers arent anything special.

She has too many pics of the car for it not to exist... and for some reason I dont think shes crazy enough to take pics of someone elses car. but has she ever posted dyno sheets, vids, anything to confirm the build? Like i said, its your basic SC GT with maybe 400rwhp or so. Nice car, but not near as fancy as we are made to believe.

Hey Rog - my old man just bought a Porsche 911 Turbo. Picked it up in CT and drove it back to NC where he now lives. I didn't even get to see it, but my brothers did. It's a paddle shift auto. He's 72 and I am afraid he is going to kill himself in it. I'd love to put the Z06 up against it, but I would need to have someone else drive the Porsche. No way he could drive it right, even being an auto. I'll try to get him to send me some pictures - assumming he can figure that out. :D

When I asked if you looked like ALF I didn't realize that picture was of you. Not bad IMO. And I retract the ALF statement if indeed that is you. However, despite being attractive and having a nice ride... you still are a little off. Though you are very entertaining.:D

I know I am off a bit. Who isn't?

Anyway, the car shop just called. My Mustang is ready to pick up. Met/Water kit and lean tune upped power 27 rwhp.

Gotta go!

I am ready to run someone tonight!

All that $$$$ for 539rwhp. No offense, but an 03/04 cobra might have been a cheaper route.

I agree. But in 02, there were no Cobra's. OnlyGT's. Ididn't want to wait because my father offered to pay 1/2 of the 24K. So I jumped on that. It made the transaction very easy.

Besides, my GT isbuiltup in all areaswiththe best parts, down to the brakes. It is a well balanced car. If you drove my Mustang and then a Stock 03 Cobra, you'd instantly feel a major difference -- so I was told....

I am thinking about changing the seats and installing a custom 4 point roll cage with moveable arms to make getting in and out easy and maybe hooking up my Alpine to receive Howard Stern....

I know my Mustang can run. The problem is I can't get it to run it's potential. I'm just not built that way....

I think it can crack 10.99 with a top driver along with some gummy tires and a set of weak coil spings for better weight transfer. But with me, 1/2 second slower. 1/2 second is alot.

So no, I'd probably lose.

No question. My Mustang with me driving it goes about 11.5....

Let me pick another driver and that time will surely drop.... But you are right, that doesn't matter. The driver makes the car andI am the driver.

So unless you hit the rev limiter or mis a gear, you'd should win.

we put my previous bottom end together in 1995. ive put about 1300 runs and at least 25,000 street miles on it...regularly hitting 8000rpm in the burnout box.

i was using the stock crank and rods, and the cheapest bearings that i could find, as when the motor went together when i was 16, i couldnt afford "good stuff". the it spun the bearing on number 5, locked up, and broke the rod bolts...no block damage, but it ruined the crank. i have a new crank and rods, but unfortunately the rods are the wrong length...;)

stanggang, ive never pulled a perfect light, but i used to have a set of slips where i pulled 501s 4 elimination rounds in a row...and i pulled a 499 inthe finals against a 17 second s10...he had a 5+ second head start...[:@]

You got your $$$ worth out of it. I've heard of stock engines putting up with all kinds of abuse and still run well and conversely, I've seen well built engines fail on dyno.... Take a look at NASCAR. They use the best parts and engines fail -- Dale jr's in particular.... But that is another story.

1300 runs before bearing damage. Now that is a feat in itself. When the bearing turned on the crank journal it probablyleft 1/8" deep grooves on the bearing journals. Can't do anything about that.

Put the rods on Ebay.

It isdifficult to pull a perfect light with a stick. Reaction time is very critical in elimination rounds. If you get over zealous you cross the stagging beam too soon and redlight. If you laid back on the tree, you give up your holeshot. How can you dial ina time and just hit it on the head? If you beat out your time, your out. So trying to put it right on the money is playing with death. It is a fun game when nothing is on the line....

I assume the 17 second s10 you ran against was a bone stock an probably an automatic? Stock autos tend to run more consistant on the dial as opposed to modified cars which are more tempermental.

i visited this thread yesterday, about 6PM, and i came back to 4 more pages of how this girls car is the best thing since sliced bread. I agree about the post whore thing. This is unreal. It started as a guy talking about his "hopefull' run with a viper, and now it is all janine. Get off your freaking horse. Go make your own thread, just self title it. I do have to admit, i do find good humor in this thread, it would just be easier if it was pinned, and titled Janine, or Best mustang ever. In the beginning you said that Mr rogers, just talked about howgood his car was, funny you have talked about yours for 15 pages now. Oh ya, and i do like the bareback comment,+1 too that!!!!:D:D:D And by the way. Mr Rogers, your car is sweet. Thank you. Honestly, I felt a great deal of anxiety about the picture thing, but I managedto do it and considering how it ultimately turned out, am glad I did.

As far as haters, I think in general these guys liketo get a few laughs off people. While somemay actually feel good about themselves puttingpeople down, Ithink most of it is out of peerpressure -- to make themselveslook good. After all, people are what they think others think about them.... I actually understand this but it is a cognitive distortion of reality.

There are so many haters here.STOP HATING,
Janine you are hot and have asweet ride,it obviously takes a good looking person with high self esteem to post pics on here.
take it from one of the real ones (me)on here who have confidence to actualypost a pic of themselves on here.
That is why most of the people on here dont post pics of themselves, its all about hiding behind a screen and talkin b.s. that themajority of you would never have the balls tosay face to face.
Oh and i think vettes are sweet 2.

Anyway, Mr. Rogers Vette is absolutely awesome and I think it outshines practically all cars I've seen on this forum -- at least I certainly think so. My hats off to him.

janine, take notice of the fact that i dont hassle any of the other women on this forum. aside from jokingly saying that i hated SPC in my sig, ive never had words with any other women on this site, but come on....youve brought it all upon yourself.

and i will again point out that i wasnt "hating" on the picture...i never insulted your look...i simply said that you looked slutty...i assumed that was your aim in that picture...i dont imagine that you took it to send to grandma for christmas...;)

however, i give you the hassle that i do, simply because youve been caught several times running your mouth and not backing it up, like calling out mr rogers here...and your stories..and the alter ego.

i had some fun and took the pictures down...youve done enough here that i could ban you, but i let you stick around because no one hates you....but youll have to always expect a little dig here and there.

Forgive me, I don't know much old Chevys.

Is not a 460 a Ford BB?

The Chevelle SScame with396's right? Or was that just in 1969?

Those big heavy old school solid lifter 6.5L engines with 4 bolt mains, 2.19 intake valves/1.88Exhaust,a bore and stroke at 4.094 in by 3.76,Mallory dual point distributors, and bigYellowAccel Super Coils would have little chance against the fabulous small engine technology of today.

Really which is better a computerized GT induction set up with 42lbinjects 90mm MAFor a Weiland orElderbrockTunnel ram with 2 Holley 850 double pumpers withmechanical secondaries and oversized jets?

For it's time, only the 427 matched it.

Which 427 would you rather have: chevy or Ford? Good question.

How do you "tweak" and old school engine? All I can think of is advancing the distributor, and byplay around with the air and fuel mixture with a screw driver on the carb or change Champion plugs hot or cold. What else?

Today, all you need it to get one of those hand held tuners and set a tune....

I'll give you an example.

I bought a foreclosed home at a public auction in May. The house sold for $150,000. I made about 3 payments on while I waited for a buyer. The home appraised for $346,000. The buyermade a counter offer for $330,000. Deal $330,000 - 150,000 I oweon the titlle= $180,000 walk away money for. I pay my Z06 off. $180,000 now becomes $105,000. I buy a Tahoe cash.$105,000 becomes $57,000.

When the ZR1 comes out, I will remove all the modifications from my Z06it and revert it back to stock. I will trade it in. Lets say it will be worth $55,000 in 2009 or when ever the ZR1 hits the streets. I put $55,000 down due to trade in and purchase the ZR1. I still have enough cash in the bank to finance another foreclosed home, and make payments until it sells. Then i'll pay the ZR1 off andtrade it in for something really nice...Perhaps if your up to it...maybe that stang of yours is willing to get spanked buy another Porsche Carerra GT...Mines.

I think your Z06 can match T-Bone's Carrera GT. No one has beaten him yet.

I heard of people flipping real estate around for quick profit. The problem with that is you don't know anything about back taxes owed or pending law suits. In NY, the buyer has to beware. The abstract comes with allit's problems.

I though about getting into coops (a coop is an apt that you purchase the right to live in. Shares in a corporation so to speak) put 10k into it and sell it for an easy 15k profit. The closer to the city, the faster they will sell. There are very few places to live close within 10 miles from NYC. Rents for a 1 bdr apt are $1800 to 2400 monthly -- if you can find it.A coop cost $140,000 stripped.
My friend once rented out her basement. She put an ad in the NY Times and offered open house at 7pm. 44 couples showed up. Each filled out an application. The rent was stated at $2000 mo. All of them filled out the app. One couple printed out that they would pay 2250 mo if they were chosen and another offered one year in advance in CASH.
It is that bad.

So I am considering the Coop market. I see it is working for you and Lee so I might as well get into it myself.

Rogers, your plate number****** can be looked up by a member of the police force or motor vehicles. It will show the owners name. Will it say Mr. Rogers?

If you think I don't have what I say I have, youcan look up my plate number: 363RWHP. You will find my name Janine on the registration....

No doubt!

Mr Rogers is my screen name given to me by a few friends. My registration reads my real name.

I believe you. I am sorry. I will not invade your privacy. Trust me.

If you can get a visual on the location, foreclosed properties are the way to go. They are the equivalent to repossessed cars...nothing wrong with them just some people living above their means.

The Carrera has a little on the Z06. Still, very close. A true top end race to 190mph would be interesting to watch.

Thanks for the vid.

I drive like a woman -- but VERY spirited....

You live near Albany.... What tracks are up that way?

Oh, you look good in your car. V6?

Lebanon valley- 1/4 mile

and please tell me you did not just jsut call a 1966 chevelle SS a V6[&:]. its 4 cubes short of being 2x as big as my msutang V6.(for those of you that cant do math, its a 460 cube big block;))

Good question.

its a chevy 454, overbored to 460. dual 4 barrels, ported/polished 427 Rat heads, mild cam, solid lifters, longtubes, all forged internals, domed 11:1 pistons, etc.

Chevelle came in SS form from 1964-1973. 1964 had only smallblacks, a 327 being the alrgest. 1965 saw the introduction of the 396, with only 201 built. 1966 was first year of widespread production, with 3 396's- 325hp, 350hp, and 375hp. continued to 1969, when COPO introduced the L72 427 into the lineup. 1970 saw the LS5 and LS6(which ours is based on) 454ci engines, top dog LS6 pushing 450hp and 500tq. the 396's were bored to 402's, but rated the same. 71 nkilled off the LS6, 72 killed all but 1 402, and 73 left only 1 402 and the LS5.

What about short term capitol gains tax? If your income tax rate is 33%, at $180k short term capitol gains tax would be $59,400.

You are correct. However my tax contributions are blancend out because I make several intrest only payments in to my investment(s).All of them are not short term. My payments including the one I make on my own personal home are for the most part tax deductable. Which means by the time I actually sell the investment the IRS will owe me more than I owe them.

Probably a good idea considering any of your 'friends' that would look up his plate and give you the information is risking his/her job.

Don't worry I would have ZERO issues with reporting it, I am already obligated to be an MR for the state on about everything else. ;)

Of course it does vary state to state...I believe in GA it's potential of 15 years and 15K fine...

I think your car would be an excellent choice for a remake of the Knight Rider TV show or a new Knight Rider movie.

Just get some red horizontal LEDs embedded in the front bumper and start calling your car KITT!

Mine was fully loaded - every option there is. Sticker was 78 or so. There is no way that Z06 is fully loaded. Still a damn good price though if all you care about is performance.

I'd think your right. Probably very little in the way of options. I love Kerbecks though. There all about moving volume. Pretty sure they move more Vettes than anyone else in the country. I work with a guy who's thinking about pulling the trigger on the redZo6. He tired of his anniversary edition. He probably sick of me running my mouth about how I'd take his c5 also.:D
