Omg so much BS on this post! Now I understand why everybody (gt, 5.0 owners...) is making fun of us; not because our cars but because most of us here are smart@$$es. Who the F cares how he drove, doesn't even mather! He explained what happened and if he's lying he's not lying any of us but himself. $h!t happens, no matter how you drive, walk or whatever you do. It's not like we are professional drivers, some don't react the same at the certain moments; probably get scared, confused, and can't take the right action.

Sorry for your ride man, but the good thing is you are fine...you can always replace the car! I don't think you should even bother fixing it, not really worth it. Claim the insurance, see what they say and how much want to give you, and than try to figure out what you can do with that money. I would add up some $$$$ and go for a V8! Good luck!

i have a liability insurance, so the insurance is not gonna give a penny. i brought the car to my shop today to lift her up. the floor is bent but not that bad. i was lucky the car didn't explode. the bumper bent in and bent the fuel tank, and if it moved 1/4" more, it would rip the tank. the knocks are from the Y pipe that bent and jumped off the rubber hangers, and it rubs on drops because the pipe is hanging a few inches from the ground. i will probably fix it, and finally put my flowmasters, that have been laying in my trunk for a few month.

no way i would fix my Y pipe. first i was gonna buy an o/r H, but since i'm short on cash, i'll just cut the pipe after the cats and will put my flows. i have fully fabricated dual flow 40's taken off of 04 Mach 1, so all i'll need to do is to weld 2 hangers to the body and bend the hangers on the exhaust itself.
btw, that's how my exhaust sounds now. the quality is a lil crappy, but still delivers the loudness haha
will try to take a better one soon

Whats the point of the effort then? If you gonna do something, do it right man.. honestly, youre opening a can of worms, and Im saying this now before you get balls deep in it, stop now. Even if you get the trunk panel bent back (very difficult), and somehow hang the panels straight(over the bent frame and floor), the car will never drive right, or track straight, and youll never be able to sell it..

btw, I didnt come to this thread to flame anyone, I just saw the title from the main page and wanted to see the carnage. Sucks when people lose their babies. I almost died inside when I just broke the headlight...

i'll fix the floor by myself, pull the trunk panel on junk yard for 100 or so, will get a door for 125 from junk yard and side skirts with rear bumper for 150 from my friend. so i'll put a $400 to make it look nice again, so that ppl won't turn their heads after me and say "oh whatta sh!t box he drives" then i'll sell her for 1000 or lil less, but right now people won't give me even $500
