S/C it. As far as the best bang for the buck that's the route you should go.

A fully built 4.2L isn't needed. A simple bolt on kit from Vortech, Pro Charger, or TMATurbo.com will meet the needs. Watch the For Sale section, ebay, and check out a few of the site sponsors, as well as SuperSixMotorsports.com and DelkPerformance.com.

If you do it right, and don't buy the entire kit from vortech or procharger, you can save about a thousand just piecing it together by yourself.
