I had the same problem with my drivers door as well, only at the time I did mine the fenders were off so I just scribed around the hinges, unbolted them and laid the door on a couple of saw horses. Then I just took out the little clip on the bottom of the pin, tapped the pin out, drilled out the old bushings. Installation was the opposite of disassemble, only took about an hour or so.
