Default My christmas present

Finished up joining the army today. Signed all my enlistment papers, physical, swore in, ect..

Shipping out to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood for combat engineering 2008/12/30.

Its gonna be crazy, christmas with the family then im out of there.

so probably no halo3 or tdu with ya hellion for a while

Oh boy. I hope you know what you signed up for. My uncle is in the army and I've only been able to see him 2 times this whole year because he's been deployed so many times.

Best of luck and if someone starts shooting at you, call in the plains and GTFO!!!!!!!

How the hell do you call in a plain? lol

A lot of my friends joined the military, a couple airforce, couple marine corps, a couple navy, and a couple army. They all seem to love it. Best of luck to you man.

So, what to do with the sign up bonus?

heck yeah, 18 month deployments. that will probably change soon though since we have a democrat in office now. how long is your first enlistment?

Enlistments 3 years 17weeks with a 4 year trail. Not bad.

MOS is 21b- combat engineer
