Default 11:1 comp.

what do ya'll think about that kind of comp. on a n/a motor with a built bottom end? do ya'll think it would be to much or should I try more and remember it's going to be a drag motor only no street use

its gonna be hard to find a starter that will put out that much torque to turn the motor over.

no transmission. in middle of 5 speed swap

future B18 or DOHC Zc engine
5 or 6 speed manual tranny. not sure yet

Not worth it. You wont gain much from raising the compression like that on the 2.3

you downed my hopes on that one. went to the machine shop 2day and they told me they had to bore .060 over.also what cam should I get right now I have a .480 lift spec. from advance, bought it when I was 15

do you know the specs other than a .480 lift, like center line, duration, etc?

no the guy just said it was the highest lift you could go before it would strip only

I would go with a nice bo-port stage 1.5 or 2 cam.

would stroking the engine to a 2.5 help in any power at all

Not really, the only way to get power out of the 2.3 is to use the turbo version
