Best time 13.7@ 102 mph 2.04 60' on street tires(in the '85)
Best time 14.3@ 96 mph 2.13 60' on street tires(in the '91)

Your strip only completely built NA 2.3 would still be slower than my DD 2.3T SVO...and my bone stock SVO...and my Sentra...and just barely faster than my new roller SVO

Sure, you could get some power out of it, but if you put equal $ into a turbo motor you are going to be soooo much faster, and still be able to drive it on the street if you want.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2433289 << this dude has a 260 hp na 2.3 with 12:1 compression, check out his site and see if you can get in contact with him. im sure he spent alot more to get to 260 hp with na then you would with a turbo but clearly it can be done. how bad do yo want it?

You gotta respect the car and the effort he went through, but holy crap. Big $$ spent, a whole 260 hp, has to run high octane gas, and gets 11-12 mpg. I'll take my turbo thanks.
