Hey all, I know the market is tough right now but I haven't before this winter needed a car that can make it through upstate NY snow. So unfortunately I may have to sell the stang. My question is, what do you all honestly think I could get for it?
It is a 2000 GT with 50,500 miles on it, has a brand new clutch (aftermarket), meticulously maintained, no exterior (not even scratches) or interior flaws and is genuinely in amazing shape. Remember it is a 'vert, but anyway, can someone tell me what they think the true market value is because NADA and all those sites aren't going to be accurate right now. Thanks -Andrew
***It will also come with the mods it has (minus the XCal2 and TB/Plenum which I will sell separately). I know mods don't add much of anything, but thought I'd add that note in

This is like one of the worst times to ask unfortunately. With people I know in car sales telling me that a bank will only probably lend someone $2,000 for a used GT, I don't see you having very much luck when selling it
But, I wish you the best of luck man, hopefully you'll be able to sell it
I love the car and I really want to keep it, but I'm getting older (from being a 16 year old wanting a fast car to an almost 22 year old getting a job) and I need a reliable year round vehicle that is realistic. I love this car to death, of my 5 cars I've owned thus far, it is my favorite. I just can't afford to buy a second car which really sucks.
I agree with 2000AZ5.0GT, it is the worst time to sell. Not just economy wise, but it is not convertible season. Your car is doing around $4,000 at auction right now. MMR shows 3,700 on the low and 6,000 as the high, but 4-4,500 as the average. That means around $5,000 max for private party. But, what bank is going to loan anyone that money right now? That means you're looking for a cash buyer for that "top dollar". Hope that helps...

You can't find a beater for 600 or so? You'd be crazy to sell now.
My issue is that I really can't bring myself to drive a complete piece of crap, I've always had pretty nice cars and one of the reasons I'm considering a new car is for comfort, so spending $600 on a beater would be uncomfortable and unreliable so I'd rather just not drive all winter.
