with flowmasters mufflers its a little louder than stock. It should have came from the factory sounding like that.

h -deeper
x - louder and raspy

if you would have had h like him or he had x like you it would have been a bigger differnece and a much better comparison

and ik their not in the same league as lm1 since i have lm1 now

but its up to the OP if he wants plain loud or tone. if he just wants to be loud lm1 FTW but if he cares about tone FTL. lm1 olny sounds good at WOT. otherwise its annoying and sounds like absoulte **** when you let off the gas from high rpm

Save your money and buy a complete catback. You will get better flow and a nice tone.

Check out youtube for some clips of exhaust notes.

M55's were only made for the 99-04 cobra or any mustang with a 99-04 cobra rear end.
They are now discontinued and extremely hard to find.
SLP Loudmouths seems to be the loudest catback/muffler.
Add an o/r x pipe and some Long tube headers, Which SLP also makes, and you will have a loud ass stang. But this is for when you have money to dump into it. for now save yourself $500 or so, and buy the SLP loudmouth catback.

you could get a cheap used offroad x pipe for a little more than the price of mufflers and it will get a bit louder. Look on craigslist, i see them for like 90-150 bucks

Just save up for a catback. After you buy the mufflers and have them welded in, you might as well just spend the extra few bucks and get an entire catback.
