Kooks custom headers w/ catted X
Magna Flow Catback
Slotted Rotors
Heat Extract Hood

Let me know what you think???
Why you doing the stroker? There are guys on here with a 283CID making way more than I would on the same tune with a 298CID,
not only that I've heard its alot more stress on the engine when you increase the stroke that much.
On an agressive tune at 13lbs of boost I saw about 520rwhp at 6800rpm. Since your going with the manual, you'll be further ahead than I am

I have a little more in parts and I think the cost on mine came to around 27-$28,000, good luck with it. I'm guessing your going for an all out straight line car? I think except for the suspension and the blower, our set-up's will be quite similar. Like I said, good luck with it all, just make sure you really trust the shop your using.

Little horror story about the shop I use - I had them fabricate another couple oil lines for me, and they put the belt on wrong- shredded it all to he** within 100-150 miles. all my advice is just check stuff over and make sure it's done right, and never trust jack furrier's tires -they didn't even retorque the lug nuts down.

Ever had anything even remotely close to this, or are you going from a boltons GT to a 600+ WHP car? If you haven't... I hope we don't see a "caris wrecked" about 2 days after the install.

Gonna guess there is about 600-650 WHP there. Real hard to make more than that on a blower car 2v.
+1, better hope that you never see any water on the road with that set up. Im down about 200-250rwhp to what your looking for, and i'm on street tires, and I still can't drive this car in the rain.

and I have been in some insanely fast cars, and all of them have been under 600rwhp. Thats going to be an insane car

so why the stroker? Time and time again we have seen that it either adds nothing compared to a comparable 281 CI.

You can get a billet shortblock in regular 281CI form as well though, and cheaper too.,

The bore/stroke ratio of the 4.6L is great stock. Stroking it makes the ratio worse, and costs you RPM potential, definatly not something you are going to want for your forged block/centri charged motor with all the head porting etc.

Its just not enough CI to make up for the loss of good ratio etc etc IMO. I have yet to see a single stroker make any more power with the same setup as a 281 or 281 + .030 overbore setup.

Car is going to be mean either way, but you could spend the extra dough from the stroker on something else.

If it makes the power that you say then Ill just add nitrous or the meth. Anyway 700+ should be nice change from 425.

From what I have seen its just hard to make more than about 600-650 on a blower car 2v for some reason. Several have made more with turbo kits or blower + nitrous though.

650ish WHP is good for mid 10s on the right suspension/launch though... dammed fast for a street car.

This isn't your DD is it? The mods your talking about are going to really transform the car... enough that your not going to want to DD it.
