Exclamation Just a weird question. Need some guru help!

Alright so i made a thread a while back on some mechanical problems i been experiencing. And most of them are solved. I feel the stealerships are probably the worst place to go for a diagnosis. Last time i went to the stealership was to diagnose the same exact problem. We thought it was the transmission, but they checked it and said it was fine. The problem is... THEY didn't find/diagnose the weird kick back or rear end butt up I experience after letting off the gas around 30-45 mph. Quite awesome actually i take it in there and leave without knowing what's going on haha.

The best way to explain this is to say your cruising on a 30-45 mph road and you tap the gas. The mustang accelerate and you let off.. the mustang will than kickback and you feel it. Sometimes it does it more than once if your at that right speed. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Also whenever the car is hot and in park. Whenever i put it in drive it will make a clunk and than engage into gear and take off. It's just annoying with these weird things. It still runs great. I would just like the stang to drive as smooth as possible that's all. Thanks for any input.

-Chris

Auto or manual? I had the same problem with my auto T-bird and and it would kind of shutter like that when I tapped the gas. I changed the tranny fluid and it was fine. That also has a 4r70w.

It's an auto. I'll get my tranny fluids changed as it's a good start. See where it takes me. Thanks for the input guys

So lets say it's the rear end. Would just replacing the gears with 4:10 gears fix it all? If so that's a great excuse for me to do gears
