What are the best driveshaft options for the v6? mine's an '07 and i'd like to eventually upgrade the driveshaft. i found an aluminum steeda driveshaft but it seems a little steep. any suggestions?

$200 cheaper too. Wow. I've only heard good things about Shaftmasters and they're located somewhat close to me too.

powerhouse also offers one of high quality, but they are more expensive last i knew. If i were in the position to get a new driveshaft, i go with shaftmasters.

I got the new version of the shaftmaster with the thicker aluminum recently.

Supposed to have a higher critical speed, or whatever it's called.

I have been very pleased with my Shaftmasters - it is one of the first ones they did for the 4.0 Mustang. No problems at all.

Ditto; happy with the shaftmasters one. Had it for a year now.

Guys...is this money well spent IYO?

I have never really cared about "peak HP"...I only did the mods on my car to correct the lazy rev, lethargic motor and sloppy shifts. I would love a bit more "snappieness".

Do you really feel this mod...or do you "feel" it because you spent $500 on it? Know what I mean?

You really feel the shaft exchange! The car feels "lighter" is the easiest way to explain it. When I left the shop after doing the swap I got on the highway within about 3 blocks and couldn't believe the difference in acceleration and lack of vibration. I was doing 80 before I realized it because the acceleration and ride were so smooth.
