Ouch....

I would like to get some more out of my car other than a getto upgrade ($1k paint job, $500 stereo, nothing under the hood).

Trust me, I need power and speed. Thats why my Softail will spank anything but a full (non-street) race bike up to 10 mph.

I saw somewhere that there is a tuner system that allows you to reset to the factory setting if you ever need service.

Does such a thing actually exist?

i think the xcal's actually make a save of your factory settings before they install your tune and keep it on the tuner. not positive though, haven't bought mine yet.

Yes, they capture your stock tune first. Then, what you can do, is before taking the car in for service, reset the tune back to stock, then set it back to your custom tune when you get it back. I did that a few times when I took the car in for warranty service!

Try living out toward the sticks where the cops have more time on their hands.

You know it's bad when they can still catch you running a farm road with no street lights and all your lights out.
